About Me

Hi! I’m Sam Felling, and I’m excited to share a bit of my story with you. My hope is that it inspires and guides you in the areas I’m most passionate about: dance, fitness, confidence, mentorship, and community.

I’m a certified personal trainer (ASFA), a SafeSport-certified instructor, and a professional Irish dancer. After competing for more than 15 years, I had the incredible opportunity to live my dream and perform professionally. Over the past four years, I’ve toured to more than 25 countries with seven different professional dance productions, including the world-renowned Riverdance. I’ve taught at the Riverdance Summer School and have 8 years experience working with dancers of all ages and levels in both studio and virtual settings.

My journey hasn’t been without challenges. It’s been filled with hard work, major lessons, and plenty of ups and downs. Through it all, I learned what it truly means to train both hard and smart. I believe that dance should be rooted in love, joy, and self-expression, but you can’t fully enjoy it if you’re fighting through pain, burnout, or a lack of stamina.

Every body is different. Every dancer and athlete has their own circumstances, natural strengths, and obstacles. My goal is to help you understand how to build real strength, mobility, and endurance so you can do what you love with confidence and joy, not just get through another full round.

I hold a business degree from Saint Louis University, and before working full-time in dance and fitness, I spent four years in account management and marketing. Now, I’m officially opening my books for personal training clients.

With my background as a professional Irish dancer, I’m especially passionate about helping competitive dancers build strength, resilience, and confidence while reducing the risk of injury. When I was younger, I didn’t understand how essential strength and conditioning really were. It wasn’t until my 20s, while preparing for professional tours and recovering from injuries, that I realized how much smarter, stronger, and more capable I could feel with proper conditioning.

Once my fitness improved, my dancing transformed. I could focus on performance, execution, and joy, and I want other dancers to experience that same freedom. I wasn’t a natural growing up, so every bit of strength, strategy, and knowledge made a difference in reaching my goals. I’ve overtrained, undertrained, made mistakes, and learned so much along the way. Now, my mission is to help others learn those lessons sooner, to move better, perform stronger, and dance with confidence and longevity.

If you’re ready to take your training to the next level, I would love to work with you.
